The Oklahoma National Guard announced early Tuesday it has postponed sending 500 soldiers from the Broken Arrow Armed Forces Reserve Center to Austin, Texas.
The soldiers had been scheduled to leave Tuesday morning. There's no word on when they will deploy.
The Oklahoma Army and Air National Guard already has more than 1,500 soldiers and airmen working in Texas to support hurricane relief.
