Pit Bull Rescue Group Looking For Adoptive Homes, Volunteers

A certain dog breed that some say is often misunderstood is getting help from an Oklahoma group. Over the weekend, Pit Bull Rescue collected donations of food and other items in Oklahoma City.

The public got to meet several pups that are looking for homes. This group started up years ago when OKC Animal Welfare said they would no longer adopt out Pit Bulls.

"We have to be very discriminate who gets them because they get put back in the shelter system if we don't put them in the right places, in the right families," said Rod Goodhue, Pitbull Rescue Oklahoma.

The group said they are always looking for volunteers.
