Just after 8 a.m. Monday the first of some 200 rafts entered the Arkansas River to take part in Tulsa's Great Raft Race for the third straight year.
The homemade rafts were launched from the Case Community Park in Sand Springs and it is expected to take about four hours for those rafts to make it to the finish line at West Festival Park in Tulsa.
Organizers says there are around 900 participants in this year's race.
We will have updates on the raft race during News On 6 at noon and wrap up the day with reports on News On 6 at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
