A major resurfacing project gets underway in Tulsa on Highway 169 Tuesday, September 5th.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says the $6-million project is seven miles in length, stretching from Highway 64 to Interstate 44.
Work will also include patching and joint repairs.
ODOT says drivers can expect delays in both the north and southbound lanes of 169 until the project is complete in the summer of 2018.
Drivers can sign up for daily traffic advisories on ODOT's website so they can be aware of upcoming lane and ramp closures.
