Crime Stoppers Tip Leads To Tulsa Woman's Arrest In Shooting

Tulsa Police arrested 22-year-old Cynthia Brown, also known as "Cyn Cyn," in connection to a shooting earlier this week shooting, Tulsa Sergeant Dave Walker said in a news release.

She is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to the Tulsa County jail. 

Police got a Crime Stoppers tip and arrested her without incident in the 300 block of Gillette Avenue, he said.

She is suspected in a shooting at the Savanna Landing apartments in the 1100 block of East 60th Street at about 2 a.m. August 29.

A man was shot and taken to the hospital in critical condition. Walker said the victim is recovering and expected to survive.
