The parents of a 19-year-old man murdered in May, say they want answers and need justice. The suspect had been released from prison less than a year earlier, and police say he also robbed several area restaurants.
Chase Stewart is in jail. Police say he used a shotgun to shoot and kill Dayquan Nails. They say he also confessed to robbing five businesses with a sawed off shotgun. Plus, he'd already been to prison for armed robbery. Dayquan's parents say if Stewart was in prison where he deserved, their son would still be alive.
Dayquan Nails' favorite color was lime green and his nickname was Noodles because of how much he loved to eat them. He was the baby of four kids and super excited to become an uncle this fall.
"He was a people person. He had a big heart. He had eyes that would capture a room, and a smile that would brighten your day, said Shetta Miller, Dayquan's mother.

"It hurts me everyday, everyday," said Dayquan's father Quentin Nails.
They say they don't know why Dayquan was shot at the Mohawk Manor apartments where he was visiting. They are desperate for information.
"We need justice for our son, we need answers. We don't know why, what happened because our kid was not a bad kid," Shetta said.
Police agree with that but can't say the same about the man charged with Dayquan's murder. Records show he has convictions for armed robbery, burglary, carrying a concealed weapon and resisting arrest. They say right after he got of prison last fall, he started doing hold ups, then the murder in May.
"He doesn't need to walk the streets. He's a demon, he's a monster," Dayquan's mother said.
Again, Stewart has only been charged. A judge will decide next month if there's enough evidence to order him to stand trial. We'll keep you posted.
