Two people were taken to area hospitals Tuesday morning after they were injured in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 75 north of Ramona.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said the collision happened on southbound 75 at 3200 Road, which is just north of Ramona.
Troopers said a vehicle rear-ended another vehicle, then a third vehicle crashed into those two vehicles.
One person was taken to a Bartlesville hospital by ambulance and another was flown to a Tulsa hospital via air ambulance.
Troopers said the injured people are expected to recover from their injuries, but their conditions weren't immediately available.
The crash happened before 6 a.m. Tuesday, August 22, and traffic began backing up on southbound Highway 75 as commuters made their way to Tulsa. Both lanes of southbound 75 were closed and traffic was being directed onto the shoulder to bypass the crash site.
The road was back open by 8 a.m.
