The boyfriend of a woman accused of robbing a Tulsa bank with a bomb has been arrested.
According to reports, police arrested Edd Payne for armed robbery.
On Thursday, August 17, 2017, police responded to the Bank of America at 205 East Pine. When they arrived, officers learned the bank had been robbed by a woman who threatened to have a bomb.

Police said the woman demanded money, showed the teller the device then left the bank.
Police later learned the device was not a bomb.
Photos of the robber were released and police said the mother of the suspected robber identified her daughter as the robber. The description she gave also matched the teller’s description.
According to the report, the mother told police she saw her daughter with Payne in “a new gray Crown Vic with 20-inch rims” after the robbery.
Police said, on Friday, August 18, 2017, they located the woman, whose name has not been released, along with Payne.
During questioning, police said the woman admitted to robbing the bank and also said Payne was in the getaway car.
She told police Payne bought a $3,500 car with the robbery money. When questioned, police said Payne told them he bought the car with money he won gambling.
Police arrested Payne for armed robbery.
