We are tracking a few scattered showers moving in from the west and dense fog settling in east of Tulsa Friday morning.
A few showers can be expected across northern Green Country this morning. There is a slight chance those showers will reach Tulsa, but keep your umbrella handy until at least through the noon hour.
Dense fog could also become a problem just east of Tulsa along Highway 412 Friday morning.
Skies will slowly clear out as well as heat up. Highs will top out in the low 90s with heat index values near 100 degrees this afternoon.
We will be watching for the opportunity of more rain Friday evening. There is a chance for a cluster of storms to develop to the north in southeast Kansas and push into northeast Oklahoma this evening.
If these storms do develop they could be strong to severe with hail and winds as the main threats.
