Vinita Police say the Union Pacific train that blocked east/west railroad crossings is moving. All crossings will be reopened soon, including Highway 60.

All east/west railroad crossings in Vinita City limits (except Scraper by Euclid and Eastern State Road) were temporarily closed due to the railroad engine fire.

A news release said the train blocked Highway 60 going east out of Vinita, so police routed traffic on North Wilson Street to Hope Road so travelers could access Highway 60.
