SUV Catches Fire On BA Expressway

Extreme heat led to a fire on the BA Expressway near 177th East Avenue.

Just after 5 p.m. Saturday night, the transmission overheated on an SUV pulling an RV catching both the SUV and the RV on fire.

As crews were getting the fire put out, the brakes failed on the SUV sending it into traffic, blocking lanes.

All lanes of the eastbound BA were shut down.
