Broken Arrow Police closed the road at the 9th and Memphis intersection due to a car crash involving power lines.
Police said the outage was caused by a truck with an over-sized load that snagged power lines and took out three poles.
They said the area will be closed until at least 6 p.m.
Police said the driver was cited for an over-sized, unpermitted load that was 18 feet over regulation. They also said the driver didn't have a permit to go through Broken Arrow.
Multiple intersections were without power and temporary stop signs had to be put out.
PSO power lines and Cox fiber internet lines were all downed.
At one point PSO reported nearly 1,500 outages. Most of the power has been restored, but some customers are still without.
