Thieves Try To Steal Pickup, Knock Out Power In Tulsa Neighborhood

Police say thieves attempting to steal a Ford pickup knocked out power to a midtown Tulsa neighborhood early Wednesday.  

Officers were called to a home near 31st and Madison after thieves backed the truck into a fence and then a PSO transformer box next to the curb.  The thieves then got out and ran away.

PSO said about 50 customers were affected. A repair crew restored power to most of them quickly.
