Three people were arrested Friday on allegations they used fake money to pay for their meals at an Owasso restaurant.

Tyler Smithee, Cheyenne Beck and Robert Dennington are accused of using three fake $20 bills to pay for a $59.98 check at Pancho's restaurant.

A server at the restaurant called police after discovering the counterfeit bills. Each bill had the same serial number, according to a police report.

Officers later pulled over a vehicle bearing the tag number a witness provided. Beck, 29, was driving the vehicle with Dennington, 34, and Smithee, 21, as passengers.

Smithee was named as a suspect in one of several counterfeit cases that had been reported in the last week, police said.

Officers found several fake bills in the vehicle and on Smithee, police said.

Dennington, Smithee and Beck were each arrested on complaints of possessing counterfeit currency with intent to circulate. They each remain in the Tulsa Jail.
