More aviation jobs are coming to Bristow. Consolidated Turbine Specialists is expanding into a new, bigger facility at Bristow's Jones Memorial Airport.
On Friday, Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe flew his own plane into the airport Friday to the tour the company's facility.
The company doesn't have an exact number on new jobs yet, but say it could be about ten in the next year.
Inhofe says it's important for rural economies to help Oklahoma's small airports grow.
"This is a miracle, what we're looking at here is a huge operation. Its one that people would think would be in St. Louis, or someplace else," said Jim Inhofe.
To help accommodate Consolidated Turbine Specialists growth, the Bristow airport will expand its runway sometime in mid-2018.
