One more day of scattered shower and storm chances for Green Country. This afternoon and evening, most of the showers and storms will be south of I-44. A few downpours of rain along with lightning and thunder will be possible. Storms today are not expected to be severe. We'll see a mix of clouds and sun in most locations but more sunshine will be possible from Tulsa to the north. That's where we will also find our warmer daytime highs in the upper 80s.
Tuesday, we'll have a northeast breeze with gusts near 20 mph. We'll see more sunshine and therefore warmer temperatures. Very few clouds tomorrow afternoon and the UV Index will be very high so put on sunscreen! Highs will in the upper 80s for most of Green Country.
Pretty nice weather will remain through the rest of the work week. Cooler mornings both Wednesday and Thursday with lows in the 50s. Rain chances should stay across western Oklahoma. We will see increasing cloud cover but should remain dry. A few showers and storms could make it into eastern Oklahoma near the end of the work week but right now chances remain low.
This weekend looks warm and dry. Good pool or lake weather!
