A 20-year-old man charged with the kidnapping and murder of a Tulsa man in October 2016 waived his right to a trial Friday and pleaded guilty during a court hearing.
Alejandro Guzman was charged with first-degree murder, kidnapping, robbery and possession of stolen vehicle following the death of Wilmer Flores. Flores' body was found lying next to the entrance to Tulsa's Mohawk Park.
Court records show Guzman is set to be sentenced September 6th.
Two other suspects in Flores murder have already been sentenced. Jennifer Lopez received a 10-year suspended sentence and Jose De Jesus Flores-Nolasco received a 35-year sentence.
A fourth suspect, Ricardo Banuelos has a court hearing on June 26th.
