Two Bristow parents are furious after they say someone drove by and shot into their home. Marcus Jackson was sitting in his living room Monday, May 22 around 8:30 p.m. when somebody shot a BB gun through his window.
His two daughters were also in there, and he says he shudders to think what could've happened if they'd been hit.
Jackson says it was a typical weeknight. His daughters were playing in the living room before bed.
"I heard the glass shatter," said Marcus Jackson, Bristow parent. "I looked out the window where I'd heard the noise and found the BB gun hole in the glass and in the screen."
All he and his wife Madison have thought about since, is how much worse it could have been.
"If it wasn't a BB, and it came through the window like that, it would have definitely hit one of my kids where they were standing - so it strikes a nerve on you," Marcus said.
Madison Jackson, his wife, says she's baffled by who could have done it.
"I didn't know why or who it could have been. I mean, we have no enemies," said Madison Jackson, parent. "We're friendly with everybody; everybody's friendly with us. Everybody knows the kids."
At this point, they think it may be high schoolers messing around, but they want those kids to know this is no joke.
"It's probably some kids that they don't realize that somebody can be hurt, and that someone's life can change in an instant like that," Madison said.
Marcus only caught a glimpse of the car as it drove away, but says he filed a police report. The Jacksons tell me police have no leads so far.
They also said it could probably be avoided if parents would take control of their kids.
