Police have questioned four people in connection to the death of a woman who was shot during an attempted robbery early Thursday morning.
Tulsa police said they've questioned a 19-year-old man, a 17-year-old boy and two 14-year-old boys.
Police said Jeannie Tiger Blalock, 64, was shot once in the head at the Sawmill Apartments at 12903 E. 35th Place.
Sergeant Dave Walker said through their investigation police have learned the group was breaking into houses, cars and were stealing cars the night of May 18, 2017.
Police said Blalock had just gotten out of her car at about 3:30 a.m. May 18, when the two teens attempted to rob her. They think she struggled with the teens when the gun went off and she was struck in the forehead.
During their investigation, police got information saying 19-year-old Chase Bridgers was involved. He was found at an apartment complex and taken into custody.
Police said they questioned Bridgers and said he admitted to acting as a lookout during the burglary, then entering the apartment and taking items.
An arrest report says Bridgers then admitted to being present when Blalock was shot.
