A Pittsburg County man was arrested May 5 after multiple law enforcement agencies seized 26 guns, a gas grenade and more than a dozen marijuana plants at a home near Scipio.
Anthony Schoggins was arrested and booked into the Pittsburg County jail, the sheriff's office wrote on its Facebook page.
The Pittsburg County Sheriff’s Office, along with District 18 Task Force, McAlester police and Choctaw Tribal Police, conducted a search warrant at 17979 Tannehill Rd near Scipio when the items were discovered.
During the search, law enforcement also seized a marijuana grow light, drug paraphernalia used for packing and selling drugs and a gas generator used to manufacture meth, the PCSO wrote.
The sheriff's office confirmed that one of the 26 guns was stolen from McAlester. Schoggins also had a battery stolen from an oilfield company, surveillance cameras and a police radio that was scanning the secure police channel that deputies use while serving warrants, according to the PCSO.
