Primary Election Day For Tulsa's House District 75 Seat

Polls are open until 7 p.m. for a special primary election to fill a seat left vacant by the resignation of state representative Dan Kirby of Tulsa.

Republican Dan Kirby stepped down on March 1st after an investigation at the capitol into whether or not he sexually harassed two of his aides.

Kirby represented District 75, which includes much of east Tulsa.

Skip Steele, Tressa Nunley, Nik Berg, and A.J. Oatsvall are on the ballot for the Republican primary. Jamie Smith and Karen Gaddis will face off in the Democratic primary.

The winners of the primaries will move on to a special election on July 11th.
