A man is in Tulsa County Jail after leading Tulsa police on a chase Saturday night, May 6, 2017, records show. Officers said they were trying to stop Tommy Ray Hallmark near Pine and North Harvard when he took off.
Police say they use spike strips to deflate his tires and force him to stop. Hallmark then ran off but was captured, according to police records.
TPD said they found a handgun they believe Hallmark threw from his Dodge truck during the pursuit.
The 39-year-old Tulsa man is facing several charges including being a felon in possession of a handgun and eluding police after a felony conviction. Hallmark has a past history of conviction for driving under the influence, according to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections..
