Justin Shrair joined News On 6 in March of 2017. He is originally from a small town in Western, Massachusetts. He is absolutely thrilled to call Tulsa home and is excited to report on the stories and issues that matter to the people of Oklahoma.
Justin graduated from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island in 2013, where he majored in Media Communication and minored in Theater. He then went on to attend Boston University College of Communication where he received a Master of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2015. During that time, he worked for several radio stations in Massachusetts before transitioning into television news. He also Co-Anchored and served as an Executive Producer of Boston University's live morning show, "Good Morning BU".
Justin's first on-air job in television news was in Bangor, Maine, where he worked for almost two years as a Multi Media Journalist, for the NBC affiliate. While in Maine, Justin covered everything from local politics to breaking news.
When Justin is not at work he enjoys volunteering, participating in obstacle course races, running along the waterfront, hanging with friends and checking out all of Tulsa's great restaurants and coffee shops. Justin truly believes that everyone has a story and he is excited to make a difference in the Tulsa community.
Fun fact! Justin is a classically trained Tenor.
If you have a story idea or tip, or you'd just like to say hello, feel free to reach out to him on Facebook or Twitter.
