Heavy rain and storms expected to continue for eastern Oklahoma Friday afternoon.
Heavy rain with embedded strong storms are expected along Highway 412 and to the north.
The higher potential for severe weather will be to the south where the environment is more favorable.
A surface front is position near Interstate 40 and can move north or south. Areas along the front will be watched closely for severe storms that could be capable of producing a tornado.
The main threat Friday for severe storms will be large hail and damaging winds.
Heavy rainfall and flooding will also be concern for a larger area encompassing most of eastern Oklahoma.
