Police: Broken Arrow Man Assaults Wife, Hits Baby In Face

Broken Arrow Police arrested a man they say assaulted his wife and hit his 10-month-old baby in the face.

Officers arrested Lonnie Hutton, 45, Tuesday evening, December 13, 2016.

The officer's report says Lonnie Hutton was drunk when he assaulted his wife and their baby son. The report says his wife recorded video of the incident.

He threatened to "put a bullet in someone's head" then got a gun and hit his wife with it. He then dropped the gun and surrendered to police, according to the report.

Police booked Hutton into jail on five counts, including child abuse and domestic assault and abuse.He's being held on a $150,000 bond.

Editor's note: Four of the charges eventually filed against Hutton were dismissed. However, Hutton pleaded guilty to domestic assault and battery, second offense. His sentence was deferred.
