Great fall weather is expected for the rest of our Thanksgiving Day.
A quick warm-up is expected with mostly sunny skies and an increasing south breeze. Fire danger is a concern, given the wind, increasingly dormant vegetation and dry air. Burning outdoors with open flame is discouraged. Aside from that, it'll be a great afternoon to be outdoors as temperatures climb above average into the mid-60s.
It'll be a nice and quiet evening for Black Friday shoppers.
Temperatures will quickly fall into the 40s with a switch to a more northerly breeze behind a weak cold front. This sets our region up for a slightly cooler, more seasonable Friday.
The rest of the holiday week will feature cool evenings and mornings with temperatures back into the 60s during the day. South winds will increase by the weekend ahead of our next storm system.
Clouds with rain chances are expected as Sunday goes along. The best chance of rain and storms likely holds off until early Monday, however.
Behind that system will come a few shots of cooler air to end the month.
