A Tulsa man is in jail after police say he hit two cars running a red light then drove away late Wednesday.
Just before 10 p.m., officers were called about an injury crash at the intersection of 15th and Memorial Drive.
Police say witnesses told officers a Chevy pickup headed east on 15th Street ran a red light and struck two cars headed north on Memorial. That truck's driver, Michael Grady, 35, then crashed two blocks away into a concrete barrier.
Officers said Grady got out of the pickup and ran, but thanks to the help of the police's helicopter, they were able to find him hiding in a parked car near 17th and Memorial.
Michael Grady was arrested on complaints of DUI, failure to stop for a red light and leaving the scene of an accident.
Police say there were no serious injuries reported in the collision between the pickup and the two cars.
Jail records show Grady has a court appearance set for December 1st.
