Police: Alarm Scares Away Tulsa Auto Salvage Burglar

Police say a burglar dropped his loot after the alarm sounded at a Tulsa salvage yard office late Thursday.

Officers responded to an alarm at Superior Auto Salvage in the 5500 block of East Archer at around 11 p.m.

They arrived to find a door to the yard's office forced open. Police said a check of the surveillance video showed a man entering the office and jumping the counter.

Police said when the alarm sounded, the man dropped what he had taken in the burglary and ran out the door. 

They said the suspect then got into a vehicle which left the area.
