After three overtimes, the University of Tulsa Men's Soccer clinched the American Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Championship, making TU the three-time conference champions.
The Golden Hurricane won 2-1 over the University of South Florida Bulls at Corbett Stadium in Tampa, Florida in front of more than 800 people.
The game ended in penalty kicks, with USF's Marcus Epps kicking and TU goalie Jake McGuire blocking it.
TU had the final kick and Zack Stavrou secured the championship for the Golden Hurricane by blasting one past USF goalie Spasoje Stefanovic.
TU's Juan Sanchez was named the Most Outstanding Offensive Player and Jake McGuire was named Most Outstanding Defensive Player.
TU went into the conference championship 10-4-4 and USF had a record of 10-6-2.
