Wheel Torn Off In Tulsa Red Light Crash

Police say two drivers are OK after one ran a red light in east Tulsa early Saturday, heavily damaging the other car.

Officers said the driver of an eastbound car ran the red light at 21st Street South and 129th East Avenue at around 1 a.m.  They said a southbound Honda who had the green light, was struck by the eastbound car.

Police said the impact was strong enough to rip off a rear wheel of the Honda.

Officers issued a ticket to the eastbound driver who ran the red light.
