A man who escaped from a Tulsa halfway house in September is back in the county jail Wednesday morning. According to his arrest report - Clint Armstrong was caught driving without headlights and pulled over near 41st and Sheridan Tuesday night.
The arrested officer said Armstrong got out of his vehicle and lay down on the ground outside a liquor store. He then reportedly told the officer who stopped him that he was an escapee. The 29-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Records show Armstrong was serving time for several drug-related crimes when he escaped from the Avalon Halfway House.
