Tulsa police say a man is in grave condition after being shot several times early Sunday morning.
In a release, Sergeant Dave Walker said officers responded to a home in the 2200 block of North New Haven about 1:30 a.m. in response to a shooting.
Walker said detectives learned there was a gathering with friends that ended with an argument and one man leaving at the request of the others.
According to the release, after the man left he called the home again and told the homeowner he was coming back to shoot up the house.
Walker said the homeowner armed himself and when the other man arrived the homeowner confronted him.
Witnesses said the man arrived at the home armed and angry.
Police said the man pointed a handgun at the homeowner then the homeowner shot the man several times.
According to the release, no arrests have been made. Walker said the investigation will be reviewed by the Tulsa County District Attorney.
