A 14-year-old Tulsa boy charged with first-degree murder after a deadly home invasion waived his right to a jury trial.

Prosecutors say Payton Hendrick was with 16-year-old Demondray Porter when they broke into a Woodland Oaks Apartment back in May.

Police say the teens held a woman at gunpoint to rob her, but the woman got a knife and stabbed Porter to death.

Hendrick was charged under Oklahoma's felony murder rule, which allows all suspects to be charged with murder if another participant in the felony crime is killed.

Hendrick is also charged with robbery and first-degree burglary.
