Tulsa Police arrested a 29-year-old Collinsville man after he led officers on a chase in a stolen car early Thursday.

He is identified as Eric Baker.

Officers said the car's owner called after hearing someone drive off in his 1995 Honda Accord in the 1000 block of North Gary Avenue just before 1:45 a.m.

Police said because the car had a loud exhaust, it was easy to locate.  They said an officer spotted the Honda at East Admiral and South Utica and tried to stop it, but Baker sped away getting onto Interstate-244.  Shortly thereafter, the car drove up an embankment, got out and ran.

Police say a K9 officer caught up and officers arrested Eric Baker hiding on a porch of a nearby home.  Baker was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints including possession of a stolen vehicle, eluding and resisting arrest.
