Passengers at Tulsa International Airport will be getting relief at the security exit.

Remember the moving spiral exit door that would clog up when a flight arrived? TIA decided to tear them out and replace them with a faster solution.

Construction just started on the new door system.

Airport Spokeswoman Alexis Higgins said this will help get rid of bottlenecks.

"What this does, it provides a wide-open area for customers as they're exiting to get right out into the non-secure area, to get out to baggage claim a little bit quicker," Higgins said.

The first set of doors will open on the "B Concourse" side and the airport said the doors will be ready before the Christmas rush.
