Tulsa Police arrested three people Sunday after a nearly 13-mile chase through Tulsa that ended in downtown just off of I-244.
Police said they were investigating a suspicious vehicle parked at the Tulsa Inn & Suites at 8201 East Skelly Drive Sunday afternoon when police learned an Alabama tag on a Hyundai SUV was registered to a Chevrolet pickup.
Police began an investigation at the motel and attempted to locate the driver of the suspected stolen vehicle when they saw the Hyundai leaving on video from the motel office, police said.
TPD attempted to stop the vehicle near 28th and Memorial but the driver refused to stop and led officers on a pursuit west on I-44 to Highway 75, which continued to I-244, according to police.
The vehicle then exited I-244 at Detroit Avenue and struck a Chrysler in the intersection, lost control and struck a road closed sign and stopped, TPD said.
Three suspects then surrendered and were taken into custody, police said.
Cameron Flood, Laura Flood and Stephanie Franklin were arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, according to police. Cameron Flood was also arrested on a complaint of felony eluding.
Police said the Hyundai SUV was stolen in Mississippi.
The driver and child passenger who were in the Chrysler were not injured, and the vehicle suffered minor damage.
