An NFL player from Oklahoma will not be allowed to practice or play with his team until the league has a chance to review recently released documents which show he admitted to abusing his wife.
New York Giants kicker Josh Brown wrote lengthy journal entries admitting to physically, verbally, and emotionally abused his now ex-wife, Molly Brown.
The NFL informed Brown on Friday that, “pursuant to the Personal Conduct Policy,” he has been placed on the commissioner’s exempt list, “on a limited and temporary basis to permit the league fully to review the materials and determine whether further action is necessary.”
The 165 pages of new evidence came to light during a criminal investigation that was eventually dropped.
"His personal life is his personal life but when hes in this locker room he's our teammate, and that's all we can go by," said Victor Cruz, Giants Wide Receiver
Josh Brown was born in Tulsa and graduated from Foyil High School in Rogers County.
