Driver Impaled By Fence In Tulsa Crash

A driver was hurt after crashing into a fence in Tulsa early Saturday. 

Tulsa Police say the driver was eastbound on 41st Street and lost control, over corrected and ran off the road into a wooden fence east of 145th East Avenue.  

Police said a piece of the fence pierced the driver's head, causing serious injury. A passenger in the car wasn't hurt.

Police said speed was a factor in the 4 a.m. crash.
