Man Shot During Attempted Robbery At Tulsa Apartment Complex

Tulsa Police said a man was shot in the arm during an attempted armed robbery Friday night at the Boca Vista Apartments. 

TPD responded to the call before 10:30 p.m. at the apartment complex located at 10851 East 33rd Street, near Garnett. 

Police said the victim is a 44-year-old Hispanic male who a witness said was followed by two black males who attempted to rob him.

One of the black males pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and fired one shot that struck the victim in his arm, police said.

The victim was transported to a Tulsa hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

Police said the K-9 and gang units assisted in the search for the suspects. 

TPD continues to investigate but have not made any arrests.
