TU Men's Basketball Just 12 Days From Season Opener

The Tulsa basketball team opens the season in just 12 days at home against Oklahoma Christian.

The Golden Hurricane will feature nearly an entirely new roster of players who’ll showcase their skills on the court.

At media day Thursday, Head Coach Frank Haith says this season there will be more teaching and a lot of fight for playing time.

"You've got a whole lot of new guys and it's not like they're making mistakes,” said Haith. “It's just like a lot of slowing down and teaching fundamentals, techniques. And when you have a team that nobody really knows where they stand, I mean, that's fine, every practice is really, really competitive."
