For the second time this week, a 20-year-old Tulsa man is in jail, arrested by the same Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper.
Ivan Ramirez's latest arrest happened late Thursday after a chase in east Tulsa.
The OHP says Ramirez was stopped by the trooper for driving erratically near Admiral Place and Mingo.
When trooper approached Ramirez's car, Ivan stated "you pulled me over two days ago." After first stepping out of the car, the OHP report states Ramirez then got back into the car and drove off with the trooper in pursuit.
The chase ended when the OHP said Ivan Ramirez struck a stop sign at South 145th East Avenue and East 11th Street.
He was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of eluding, DUI and kidnapping. In his report, the OHP stated Ramirez had refused to let a female passenger get out of the car, putting her life in danger during the chase.
On October 17th, Ivan Ramirez was arrested by the same OHP trooper for driving while intoxicated and booked into jail on multiple complaints including DUI, speeding and having no driver's license.
Jail records show Ivan Ramirez has a court appearances set for October 24th and the 28th.
