Tulsa Police: Woman Stabs Boyfriend In The Back

Tulsa Police are looking for a woman they say stabbed her boyfriend at an apartment complex near Interstate 244 and Martin Luther King Boulevard.  Police said a trail of blood led them to the victim's apartment.

The call came in around 3 a.m. Thursday, October 20, 2016.

When officers arrived at Pioneer Plaza apartments, they found a 51-year-old man on the ninth floor who had been stabbed in the back. The victim told police it was his girlfriend who did it - but the woman left before police arrived.

Police said they know the woman's name but she is not yet in custody. She was described as a 37-year-old woman.

The man was taken to the hospital, and police say he's expected to be OK but no word on where his girlfriend may have gone. Police said domestic violence was a factor in the stabbing, and it's not the first time they've had contact with the couple.
