Finally, some real fall air this week.
We should be mostly sunny this afternoon with highs around 69 in Tulsa. The wind will feel crisp today, out of the north around 10 to 20 mph. A few wind gusts up to 20 will be possible.
Tonight, temperatures will fall to 43 for a crisp Friday morning. A few areas especially north and northeast of Tulsa could dip into the mid to upper 30s. In that case, there could also some areas of patchy frost that develop.
Winds shift to the southeast tomorrow. Highs slightly warmer near 70 and mostly sunny. We will see a warm up for the weekend. Stronger south winds and sunshine will cause temperatures to warm back up to above normal.
Morning lows on Saturday close to 50 and then highs in the upper 70s. Conditions will be similar for Sunday just a few degrees warmer. Moisture starts to increase for the start of next week.
A few more clouds on Monday will stabilize the warming trend and day time highs consistently close to 80 for Monday through Wednesday.
Our next system swings by late Tuesday into Wednesday morning which could bring a few showers and storms mainly north of I-40. Be advised that timing and location can change as we get more data.
