The Iron Gate soup kitchen and food pantry unveiled plans for its new, larger facility.
The non-profit said its new center will be about two blocks away from its current building, which they’ve outgrown.
Iron Gate said, right now, people have to wait in line outside because there isn’t enough room to seat everyone inside.
“It'll be so welcoming, and inviting to the people who eat with us. To get them out of lines, out of the weather, come inside and be welcomed,” said Iron Gate executive director, Connie Cronley.
The new facility is going to have a bigger parking lot, a courtyard, and a 5,000 square foot dining room.
