Neighbors near 101st and Riverside say they've seen several break-ins lately and one man shared home surveillance video with News On 6.
B.J. Dilibero lives in the Delaware Pointe neighborhood with his wife and six-month-old boy.
He just installed security cameras a few months ago, and Monday at around 5 a.m., the cameras caught a person burglarizing an SUV.
In the video, can see the masked person opening his wife's SUV, rifling through it for about a minute, and getting away with an emergency seat-belt cutting device.
"It's a shock. I didn't expect it. I thought maybe she had gone in her glove box and didn't realize - she was looking for her keys or something. But sure enough, there the guy. And it was a shock to see that - in our neighborhood - it happens," said B.J. Dilibero.
Another neighbor told News On 6, their truck was broken into last month and their trash was stolen. In both cases, the victims said they filed police reports.
