A Tulsa man has pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of second-degree murder.
A judge accepted Rodrick Whiteside's plea and sentenced him to 35 years in prison.
Authorities tracked Whiteside down in Chicago and arrested him for the June 2015 shooting death of Cedric Gilmer at a motel at 41st and Memorial.
Court records show charges were dismissed against two others.
Another man, Claude Calvin, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the case earlier this year.
