Oklahomans Killed In Vietnam Honored At The 'Wall That Heals' In Owasso

A special wreath laying ceremony honored those from Owasso and Oklahoma who were killed during the Vietnam War was held Saturday.  

The replica of the Vietnam War Memorial, called the "Wall That Heals" is set up outside the Tulsa Tech campus in Owasso.

Saturday, family members laid wreaths at the memorial for the three men from Owasso who were killed in Vietnam.  Another wreath honored all of those from Oklahoma killed during the war.

In addition, a special program was held inside Tulsa Tech to honor all veterans.

The "Wall That Heals" is set up at school on the east side of Highway 169 just south of 116th Street North.

It will open to visitors 24 hours a day through 4 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2016.
