October is breast cancer awareness month and an eight-year-old Sapulpa girl is doing her part to raise money.

McKensi Davis recently set up a table at the end of her driveway and sold her old books as a way to collect money.  Her mom says this was all McKensi's idea and she wanted to do something to help patients.

Monday, I met McKensi at the Komen Tulsa office where she dropped off her money that she raised which was $31.70.  She told me when people stopped, she told them to give whatever they could afford.

A big thanks to this second grader for thinking of others!
