Tulsa Police are still investigating two reported clown attacks in Tulsa, and reports of this happening across the country are driving up clown costume sales, including here in town.

At places like The 13th Ward Haunted House in Broken Arrow, people go for a scare and a good time.

And even when the sun is out, the haunted house will likely give you the chills.

"Fear is what it is supposed to be, exactly that," said Chaos the Clown.

And still, many people test their limits.

"'Don't say a word, we're not going to scare you," said one clown in the haunted house.

At The 13th Ward, around every corner, behind every turn could be your worst nightmare.

"What can I say," said Chaos the Clown. "Run! Run!"

There are many Clowns inside The 13th Ward.

"They've been freaking me out," said one spook house attendee.

Even some of the toughest guys were frightened.

So if you're looking for something fun to do, The 13th Ward might be the right place.

"I would love it when you join us, join us permanently or temporarily until we get hungry and eat you,” Chaos the Clown said laughing.

The 13th Ward is open from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night, and on Halloween weekend it's open on Sunday and Monday as well. Be prepared to get scared!

Like at The 13th Ward, clown costumes and items are a hot ticket this Halloween.

At Ehrle's Party & Carnival Supply in Tulsa, workers say the added media attention with clowns this year is causing clown masks and costumes to sell out.

Clown outfits aren't normally their most popular item, but workers say they are selling costumes for men and women. Even kids clown costumes are disappearing off the shelves.

Ehrle’s expects the clown sales to continue, even if people are just buying them to take part in the fad.

"People are only buying them because they really just want to jump on the craze, and they want to be scary,” said Ehrle’s employee Tracey Campbell.

Still this year, superhero costumes are the most popular. But there are friendly clown outfits if you want to be more like Bozo the Clown.
