Lane Closures Continue On Highway 169 Bird Creek Widening Project

Drivers on Highway 169 between Tulsa and Owasso can expect some lane closures over the next couple of days.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says the lane closures concern the Bird Creek widening project and will be between 56th Street North and 66th Street North.

ODOT says the left lane of northbound 169 will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and again Wednesday.

The left lane of southbound 169 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and again Wednesday.

ODOT says the widening project is scheduled for completion in early 2017.
